张坤领，jdb电子平台(中国)官方网站一带一路jdb电子游戏网站讲师/助理教授，硕士生导师。jdb电子平台(中国)官方网站、哈佛大学、澳大利亚国立大学联合培养经济学博士毕业。在国内外SSCI、CSSCI核心期刊发表学术论文近二十篇，发表学术专著一部，主持或参与国家级和省部级等研究项目多项。研究成果曾获2020年度《China Agricultural Economic Review》优秀论文奖。主要从事国际发展、结构转型、制度变迁、“一带一路”经济等方面的研究。

内容简介：

While the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has achieved fruitful outcomes over the past ten years, it has been frequently criticized for having negative institutional impacts and exporting Chinese model. However, there is no empirical study has exam this kind of accusation. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the institutional effect of the BRI. It applies the Instrument Variable regression technique with panel data covering 180 countries, including 136 signed the BRI cooperation agreement and 61 along the Belt and Road, from 2005 to 2021 to exam the impact of the BRI on institution quality of Belt and Road Countries (BRCs). The results show the BRI has an overall positive significant effect on institutional quality of BRCs. Robustness check still supports this finding. Further heterogeneity analysis reveals that the positive significant sign exists for both countries signed the BRI cooperation agreement and countries along the Belt and Road though coefficient is large in the former case. Moreover, the positive institutional effect is significant on developing counties, not developed countries.
